So about that fade from Keith to Shiro's hand on Adam's plaque!!! Do you think maybe Shiro's afraid of losing Keith in the same way he lost Adam? They both are in the front lines of this war, so after the battle against the Altean-powered mech and the Lions fell from the atmosphere-- do you think Shiro was afraid that he failed once again to protect the person he loves and cares about the most?

arahir:

i think you’re exactly right. also that moment in episode one when shiro said that keith’s dad’s sacrifice reminded him of someone? i think the only person he could have been referring to is adam as that’s the only person we’re shown he has a personal relation with.

anon just opened my third eye and said it was about keith and now i want to die i can’t believe sheith is real. anyway i stand by this:  i think keith inherited his father’s notions of service and sacrifice and i think it’s a theme this series will revisit.
